Glen Oaks Presidential and Dean's Scholarship

Description

Awarded to 2024 graduating high-school seniors who have an excellent academic record in high school and who have potential for outstanding achievement while attending Glen Oaks. The scholarship will cover all educational costs up to award amount. Scholarship award will be pro-rated for less than full-time (12 credits) enrollment. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours to receive the award. The scholarship may be renewed for a second year if the student maintains the required GPA at Glen Oaks.

Presidential Scholarship Requirements-
A minimum 3.5 GPA is required to apply for this scholarship. Also required is a minimum SAT score of 1110, OR minimum ACT score of 24, OR member of NHS, OR top 10% of graduating class.  Finalists for this scholarship will interview with the President of Glen Oaks, the Vice President of Student Services, and the Director of Financial Aid. The Presidential Scholarship award is up to $4,000 per year and may be used for all education related expenses.  Ten Presidential scholarships will be awarded:  One (1) scholarship from each of the St. Joseph County, MI high schools (totaling 8 scholarships), one (1) scholarship awarded to a student from a Glen Oaks service area high school, and one (1) scholarship awarded to a student from a Glen Oaks out-of-district/out-of-state high school.

Dean’s Scholarship Requirements-
A minimum 3.0 GPA is required to apply for this scholarship. The Dean’s Scholarship award is up to $2,000 per year and may be used for all education related expenses.  Twenty Dean's scholarships will be awarded:  Two (2) scholarships from each of the St. Joseph County, MI high schools (totaling 16 scholarships), two (2) scholarships awarded to students from a Glen Oaks service area high school, and two (2) scholarships awarded to students from a Glen Oaks out-of-district/out-of-state high school.
